Alison Krauss, born in Decatur in Illinois on July 23, 1971 is a popular and wealthy Country Singer. She and LeAnnekymes were among the newest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer-songwriter and bluegrass country musician. She was born on the 23rd of July 1971. Alison Maria Krauss began her career in music as a child and was a winner of local contests by the age of 10. Her first recording was her first recording at the age fourteen. Signed by Rounder Records, her first album was released in 1987. She was then invited to join Alison Krauss Union Station, the band she currently performs with. The first album she released together as a band came out in the year 1989.
