Summer glau

Firefly was Whedon's next success and it's safe to say that she had an impact. Summer Glau was very good at handling the complex role of River Tam. Tam has to take part in experiments conducted by the government that will help her become the most powerful assassin. Tam's capacity to control her emotions has been taken from her. Glau was able to display her combat abilities as well as her acting skills on Firefly. Glau's training as an assassin allowed her the chance to utilize all of her athletic abilities. Summer Glau, a trained classical ballerina. The injury to her right foot however that caused the end of her dancing career. Firefly lasted only one season, but gained a passionate audience. Whedon got so passionate about Firefly that he decided to return a couple years later. Summer Glau however continued to work with quality.
