Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England), is an English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding, a British singer-songwriter who rose to fame in the year 2010 when her smash songs Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed caught public attention. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has a unique soprano scream and a knack for writing emotional songs with uplifting lyrics. Similar to her peers Kate Bush or Imogen, she's at the forefront of contemporary mainstream pop as well as the artful independent music. She ultimately signed a major-label agreement to Polydor Records and began making preparations for her debut album.
